Interval owner to speak across country in 2012

Interval owner Chris Bevolo will appear at four healthcare marketing conferences in 2012, as well as several consultant and provider organization conferences.

In April, Chris will present twice at the Seventeenth Annual National Healthcare Marketing Strategies Summit in Orlando. On April 29, Chris will hold a 3-hour workshop to create “healthcare marketing change agents,” with content based on his latest book, “Joe Public Doesn’t Care About Your Hospital.” On Monday, April 30, Chris will once again partner with Chris Boyer, Director Digital Marketing & Communications at Inova Health System and Interval client, to present “Breaking the Rules of Website Design.” Chris and Interval will also once again co-sponsor “Branding at the Bar,” a fun networking event featuring food, drinks, trivia and great prizes. Interval hosts Branding at the Bar, which is open to all conference attendees, with National Research Corporation.

Also in April, Chris will speak at private events sponsored by MedSeek, Geonetric and Baptist Health System (Alabama).

On May 16, Chris will speak at the learning symposium for the Minnesota Health Strategy and Communications Network (MHSCN). The presentation will cover leveraging health and wellness as a branding strategy for hospitals and health systems.

On July 24, Chris will speak at the Indiana Hospital Association Communications Conference in Indianapolis, IN. The presentation, titled “Joe Public Doesn’t Care About Your Hospital” and based on his 2011 book of the same name, is a call to arms to transform healthcare marketing.

On October 5, Chris will present the closing keynote at the Wisconsin Healthcare Public Relations and Marketing Strategy annual conference outside of Milwaukee, WI. The presentation, titled “Turning your marketing upside down – five radical ideas from Joe Public Doesn’t Care About Your Hospital” will explore key contrarian ideas found in his 2011 book (such as cutting back or eliminating mass advertising altogether). During the conference, Chris will also facilitate a panel discussion and host a marketing roundtable discussion.
