Show Notes:

Here are the highlights from this podcast:

1. Zombie Brands: From the new book, “Joe Public Doesn’t Care About Your Hospital”: If you have a presence in the marketplace, you have a brand. Organizations that understand this, focus on strategically building the brand. And then there are organizations that let their brands wander aimlessly through the market like zombies with no real purpose or direction. Getting rid of zombie brands is one way to move healthcare marketing forward.

2. Wild Wi-Fi: According to a story in Business Week, the brainiac who invented QuickTime for Apple, has figured out a way to create Wi-Fi that’s 1000 times faster with a longer reach. The technology isn’t anywhere close to market yet, but imagine what will become possible once your Wi-Fi signal can zoom past any interference.
