St. Joe's hero movie campaign garners more national accolades

The 2008 hero movie campaign for St. Joseph’s Hospital continues to receive national recognition. First, the campaign is featured in the October issue of the American Marketing Association’s Marketing News “Best of Class” column, written by Piet Levy (download a PDF of the article). It’s always great to receive press on client work, but in hospital marketing, it’s especially gratifying to receive recognition from a source that critiques marketing across all industries, not just healthcare. Interval hired by Wisconsin hospital

Baldwin Area Medical Center (BAMC) in Baldwin, WI has hired Interval to provide marketing consulting. Located 45 miles east of Minneapolis in western Wisconsin, BAMC is an integrated hospital and clinic that provides service to Baldwin and surrounding areas. In early 2009, the organization named Alison Page, formerly from Fairview Health System, as interim CEO.

“We’re looking forward to working with the team at Baldwin Area Medical Center,” said Interval president Chris Bevolo. “Their leadership is focused on a number of promising opportunities for engaging their community in new and improved ways, and we’re excited to be a part of that.”

Interval joins forces with LifeSource again

LifeSource, the organ procurement organization for Minnesota, South Dakota and North Dakota, has engaged Interval to develop a social media based initiative to help increase organ donor registration in Minnesota. In 2006, Interval partnered with LifeSource to create “The List” campaign, which helped increase organ donation registration by 88% in year-to-year comparisons in Minnesota, has generated subsequent success in South Dakota, and garnered top local and national advertising awards.

Story on Mayo Clinic's social media efforts has quotes from Bevolo

Mayo Clinic’s social media efforts were the focus of a recent newspaper article that included quotes from Interval president Chris Bevolo. The comments covered how Mayo Clinic’s leadership in social media should help pave the way for others in healthcare. The quotes were included in the April 26 Minneapolis Star Tribune story, “Mayo turns to social media to reach out to patients.”
